Indication of Levofloxacin 500 mg:

Acutes Sinusitis
Acute Axacerbation Of Chronic Bronchitis
Community-Acquired Pneumonia
Complicated Urinary Tract Infections Including Pyelonephritis
Skin And Soft Tissue Infections

Dosage of Levofloxacin 500 mg:
Once Or Twice Daily. Maximum Duration Of Treatment Of 14 Days.

Contra-indications of Levofloxacin 500 mg:

Hypersensitivity
Epilepsy
History of tendon disorders

Drug interactions of Levofloxacin 500 mg:

Iron salts
Magnesium or aluminum containing antacids
Sucralfate
Theophyline

It is also used in treating infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin and lungs (pneumonia). It cures the infection by stopping the further growth of the causative microorganisms.

This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.
